When you have a milestone birthday in life people like to celebrate in many different ways from trips to parties. My most recent client wanted to celebrate her upcoming 30th birthday by doing something special that she enjoys or has always wanted to do in the 30 days leading up to her special birthday. One of the things on her list was to have photos taken of her and her sweet adorable dog Jessie. We left San Antonio and went to the nearby city of Beorne and spend some time exploring one of my favorite shooting locations, Cibolo Nature Center. I got to capture the love Kristy has for her pup and visa versa while also taking some lovely portraits of Kristy and some amazing shots of her sweet Jessie. At the end of the shoot Jessie even got to play in the creek and have the time of her life. This is one of my favorite shoots and I am so excited to share it with you.

Another mama I got to meet last weekend was Latoria. She also had a beautiful son and daughter who had a very sweet bond. We got to explore the Historic Pearl in downtown San Antonio and capture some sweet moments of mama and her babies.

This weekend is Mother's Day weekend so last weekend I did a couple mommy + me photo sessions. One mom I met was Lisa and her two children. She has two beautiful children, a son and daughter, who happen to have a large age gap but an adorable and sweet bond. I loved being able to capture the love between mom and kids and even more between brother and sister. We also let dad get in on some pics so we could get some nice family photos as well. Families like this make me so happy to do what I do.
