Texas Day 2019

Texas Day 2019

January 30, 2019

This Friday is national Texas day which made me want to share some of my favorite Texas photos I have taken over the years. I will always think of California as my home but I am happy to call Texas my second home. I have a very long history with the state and have been visiting my whole life. My grandfather was born and raised in Houston, Texas and actually lived down the street my in-laws before he passed away. The longer I live and explore the state the more I love it and in 2019 I hope to travel Texas even more so that next Texas day I can share even more.

Johnson Family

Johnson Family

January 8, 2019

During the hustle and bustle of the holidays I was contacted right before Christmas to do a family mini session on Christmas eve eve and jumped on the opportunity to help the Johnson family capture their yearly family photos before the new year. It was a cold and windy morning filled with sniffles but we made it work. I feel like you can see the cold in the photos which makes me very excited for spring.

Kansal Family

Kansal Family

December 10, 2018

As a photographer I am used to working with locals for almost all of my work, so when my latest client called to schedule a session all the way from Chicago I was quite excited. I found out it was a extended family coming from Chicago to celebrate the grandmothers 70th birthday. They surprised her with a trip to San Antonio which she didn't learn about until she got to the airport. They had a great time seeing the sights and enjoying the warm weather. It was a beautiful weekend when they were here and we were able to capture the beauty of the riverwalk while taking their family portraits. It was a fantastic experience and I hope they cherish this photos and remember their time in San Antonio when they look at them.
