Main Street Electrical Parade

Disneyland's Main Street Electrical Parade

July 11, 2017

While on vacation at the happiest place on earth my family and I knew one thing that was on our bucket list was catching the Main Street Electrical Parade. We of course waited till the last day of our trip and watched the last showing of the day but it was all worth it. Growing up I saw the parade many times and I was so excited for my kids to be able to see it as well. The parade was at 10:45 at night so we enjoyed churros and the view of the classic "It's a Small World" while we waited and then we were treated to a front row amazing view of the parade. Here are some of my favorite shots I was lucky enough to take while watching this beloved parade. If you are going to Disneyland be sure to see it before it is gone on August 20th of this year.

Disneyland Vacation

Disneyland Vacation

July 9, 2016

Last week my family and I were on vacation to one of our favorite places in the entire world, Disneyland. Growing up in Southern California I went to the parks many times while growing up but now that my family and I live in Texas we got to do a real deal Disneyland. We got to stay at the Howard Johnson water park hotel which is right across the street from the Disneyland resort so we were able to just walk back and forth between the hotel and the parks. We did three day park hopper passes but with lots of family and friends to see along with a mean case of jet lag we weren't able to be in the parks nearly as much as we wanted to, but I was still able to get a couple shots of some of my favorite places and spaces in Disneyland and California Adventure. As you will be able to see I was able to shoot more at night when the kids and crowds were calmer! Can't wait to go back and be in my favorite place again.
