Natural Bridge Caverns

Natural Bridge Caverns

June 29th 2015

While in San Antonio we were lucky enough to have a car when we needed it which let us take a short drive to the outskirts of San Antonio where we got to go to the Natural Bridge Caverns. My children and I have never been to a cave or cavern of any sort so this was a really cool experience. Due to the water levels being so high we were taken on a tour that most people don't usually go on which was really cool. Here are some photos from out cavern tour.

San Antonio Zoo

San Antonio Zoo

June 24, 2015

While in San Antonio we noticed one of the biggest attractions in the city was Sea World, well like many other people after seeing the movie "Blackfish" my family and I have vowed to never support that park ever again so this meant a trip there was out of the question. Along with places like Sea World I have been against going to any zoo's but decided to do it and let the kids go. We enjoyed ourselves in the Texas heat but I don't know when we will go back to another zoo. I took some photos that I will share with you now but to me all of the animals look kind of sad. You be the judge.

Market Square in San Antonio

Market Square in San Antonio

June 23, 2015

Summer is finally here and with kids being out of school for only around 7-8 weeks we decided to do a three week vacation in Texas to not only sight see but visit with family as well. With most of our time being spent in the San Antonio area I made sure to get in as many activities (and pictures) as possible. One of the first places we hit up was the famous Market Square. We did some shopping and even got caught in a midday rain storm which lead us to eat dessert before dinner (who can say no to some pre-dinner fried ice cream and sopapillas). Though I didn't take many pictures of our time at the Market Square here are some that I did take of the festive location.
