San Antonio Zoo

Three years ago during the summer of 2015 (well before we ever even thought about moving to San Antonio) we came to Texas to visit and while we were here we went to visit the San Antonio Zoo. With my youngest turning two we went back to the zoo for the first time since our trip in 2015. During our recent trip it was very hot and humid so almost all of the animals we saw were napping in the shade but I tried to get some shots of the animals. The highlight of the trip was seeing the bird enclosure and the butterfly house. After going to the zoo it made me realize I would like to go sometime without the kids when things cool down and take a couple of lenses to see what kinds of shots I can get. If you are in San Antonio you should take the time to check out the zoo!
