Irla and Doug's Maternity Session + Baby Shower
A few weeks ago I had the privilege of taking maternity photos for a sweet couple while also attending and photographing their baby shower for their unborn baby boy. Irla and Doug and their families were so sweet and put on one of the best baby showers I have been to that's for sure. They had beer in baby bottles and grown men in diapers (those were the games!) if that tells you anything. Here are some of my favorite photos from that day.

Descanso Gardens and The Rise of the Jack o' Lanterns
This
past weekend was Halloween and since my kids had off on Friday as well
we took an adventure to La Canada Flintridge down here in Southern
California and checked out this beautiful place called Descanso Gardens.
There are trails and an art gallery which we all enjoyed. At night
though during the month of October they turn their rose garden into this
wonderful world of carved pumpkins that is amazing. The pumpkin
festival is called the Rise of the Jack o' Lanterns and is actually held
at a couple of locations in the country around Halloween time. My
family and I loved it and can't wait to go back next year. If you
